Should I use the Nokia Body if I wear a pacemaker?
No, you should not use the Nokia Body if you wear a pacemaker or other internal medical device. The body composition measurements, including fat mass, muscle mass, bone mass, and hydration, should not be used by people wearing a pacemaker. Users with any other internal medical device should not use these functions of the Body Scale without consulting a medical professional.
The Nokia Body circulates a small electrical signal in your body to perform some of its measurements such as fat mass, which may interfere with a pacemaker or other medical device.
Note: If you already own the Nokia Body and wish to keep it you can use it as long as you disable the body fat measurements from the Dashboard. You can do so from the Nokia Health Mate app.
